 Felix Ravenna: which better title could describe, in a so evocative way, the golden age of the city, whose fascinating history is being told through this grand new exhibition?
Starting from new and unpublished mosaics coming from the Basilica of San Severo in Classe, the exhibition shows little treasures, never seen before, belonging to the high social classes of Ravenna- Classe, Rimini, Cesena, Aquileia and Istria.
Several finds, then, will document the trades and the ecclesiastical artistic handicraft. Moreover, arms and military clothing accessories will illustrate the interesting aspect of the big militarization of the period.
Felix Ravenna is blowing up as a new grand event in the range of exhibitions promoted by RavennAntica, and represents an occasion to visit the city and to discover its treasures.
